About the Group

Village Therapy Group, LLC is a highly respected and well-established group of therapists in practice for more than 20 years in Westchester County, NY.  We are a group of skilled, licensed, and experienced providers with a variety of specialties and qualifications.

We offer in-person and virtual therapy by clinicians who provide collaborative, personalized mental health  assessment and treatment to adults, adolescents, children, seniors, couples, and families in local communities and online.  We offer individual, group, and family therapy as well as substance abuse assessment, treatment, and referral.

Individual Therapy

Individual therapy is a process which clients work one-on-one with a trained mental health clinician in a safe, caring, and confidential environment. Individuals explore their feelings, beliefs, and behaviors, work through challenging or influential memories, identify aspects of their lives that they would like to change.

Couples Therapy

Couples therapy is a form of psychotherapy that can help you and your partner improve your relationship. Couples therapy can address a wide range of relationship issues, including recurring conflicts, feelings of disconnection, an affair, issues related to sex, or difficulties due to external stressors.

Child Therapy

Child therapy, aka counseling for kids, helps young individuals understand and manage challenges that affect their mental health. These challenges include mental health conditions, behavioral issues, traumatic events, and bullying. Children can experience the same mental and emotional problems that adults do, including depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, and grief.

Group Therapy

Group therapy involves one or more therapists working with several people at the same time. The most common types of group therapy are: Social Skills Groups, improves social skills for a variety of populations. Support Groups,  provides a wide range of benefits for people with a wide range of issues. Psycho educational groups, educates clients about their difficulties and ways of coping.

Nicole Nardizzi

LCSW PLLC, clinical director, mindfulness teacher

Nicole is a licensed child and family therapist with 28 years experience in family agencies and schools where she worked as both a clinician and supervisor.  Her client base was diverse and included individuals, couples, children, and families. Her therapeutic style is interactive and solution focused with support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges.  Nicole has extensive experience working with clients with mood and anxiety disorders, family conflict, relationship issues, social issues

Donna Mandel

Ed.D, LMHC

Donna is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the State of New York and she holds her Doctorate of Education in Counseling Psychology.  She has been working in the mental health field for 20 years in a variety of settings including residential and forensic facilities, outpatient mental health clinics and non-traditional community based treatment.

Rachel Erenberg

Rachel is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and certified school social worker with 10 years experience working with children, adolescents and families. Rachel has worked in various mental health settings, including school and day treatment programs, inpatient hospitals and residential treatment. Rachel uses a compassionate and non-judgmental approach when working with her clients.

Jennifer Belew

Jennifer is a Licensed Clinical Social Work who has practiced as a mental health counselor for over 9 years. She works with adolescents, adults, children and families as an agent of support and guidance. Rather than adopting one methodology for all individuals and issues, she draws from a variety of methods to create a tailored approach for each person and situation.

Nanci Kennedy

Nanci is a licensed clinical therapist with 20 years experience of work in community agencies and schools where she worked as both a clinician and supervisor. Nanci has years of training and experience in working with children, adolescents and families. Nanci graduated from Norfolk State University in 1997 with a Masters of Social Work, specializing in Children, Youth and Families.

Pam Cardozo

RN,BS,CPC,PSYCH,NURSE

Pam is a Registered Professional Nurse with broad experience in health care specifically in geriatric counseling, working with individuals, families, groups and employees in hospitals in long term health care facilities. Pam counsels individual seniors, and co-facilitates Ageless Living, a support group for seniors, guiding them through various age-related issues.  Pam served as Senior Psychiatric Nurse for Montefiore Medical Center for 10 years providing individual, family, and group therapeutic support for acutely ill psychiatric patients.

Jenna McKean

Jenna is a licensed mental health counselor and credentialed alcoholism and substance abuse counselor in the state of New York. She is nationally certified as a mental health counselor and has also completed a certified training in trauma therapy from PESI. Jenna has been practicing as a mental health counselor for ten years in a variety of treatment settings from the Emergency Department, inpatient psychiatric units, inpatient substance abuse units and outpatient mental health clinics. 

Martha McDermott

Martha Rossi McDermott is a Licensed Master of Social Work with specialty in Adolescents, Family Therapy and Grief counseling. She graduated from the Ehrenkrantz School of Social Work (now the Silver School) at NYU in 1996, and has worked in NYC education programming for at-risk youth, Community based Child Welfare programming for families, and most recently, as the Director of Patient Relations and Community Outreach at a health care provider during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Debbie is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 12 years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults and families in the mental health field. She has worked  in a variety of outpatient and inpatient settings.  She utilizes a variety of modalities including CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, art therapy, and Trauma Focused Therapy.

Kristina Jenney

Kristina Jenney is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Bachelor’s and Master’s in Social Work.  She has more than 8 years’ experience working with children, teens, parents and families in a variety of settings that include residential and out-patient mental health.  She has worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, attachment disorders, personality disorders, and PTSD, also many people who have experienced physical trauma or emotional abuse.

Marla Joi Newborn

LMSC, CASAC

Marla is a licensed master of social worker and addiction specialist with a strong clinical background helping clients with trauma, alcohol abuse, drug and sex addiction, mood disorders, and challenging life transitions. She uses a person-centered, individualized approach that always includes a harm reduction framework.   Marla currently works with individuals, couples, and families aged 18-80.  Marla helps her clients begin to know themselves more deeply through self-awareness, self-compassion.
