Donna holds a Doctorate of Education in Counseling Psychology and is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor.  She has dedicated 20 years to the mental health field, gaining experience in diverse settings such as residential and forensic facilities, outpatient mental health clinics, and community-based treatment programs.

Donna specializes in working with adults, couples, and families navigating relationship challenges, family conflicts, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and major life transitions. Using a strengths-based, and solution-focused approach, she meets clients where they are and prioritizes their unique needs. She cultivates a supportive, safe, and nonjudgmental space, encouraging clients to openly explore their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.

In her practice, Donna integrates modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and  Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to assist her clients in managing stress, developing emotional regulation skills, and improving their overall mental health.

Donna is passionate about mental health advocacy and education. She has conducted workshops and training sessions on topics including trauma recovery, emotional resilience, and coping strategies for stress management. Her goal is to equip clients with the necessary skills and confidence to navigate life’s challenges effectively.  Donna firmly believes that through self-exploration and deeper understanding, meaningful and lasting change is achievable.
