
Pam Cardozo
RN, BS, CPC, Psychiatric Nurse
Pam is a Registered Professional Nurse with broad experience in health care specifically in geriatric counseling, working with individuals, families, groups and employees in hospitals in long term health care facilities.
Pam counsels individual seniors, and co-facilitates Ageless Living, a support group for seniors, guiding them through various age-related issues. Pam served as Senior Psychiatric Nurse for Montefiore Medical Center for 10 years providing individual, family, and group therapeutic support for acutely ill psychiatric patients.
Pam operated and owned Creative Educational Programs, a consulting firm, where she taught and modeled the “art of connecting” — how to identify and meet geriatric patients’ emotional, psycho-social and spiritual needs through focused communication.
Pam was a professor for the NYS Nursing Home Administrators Licensing Program in NYC, Director of Volunteer Services and Patient Advocate for Phelps Hospital in Sleepy Hollow and consultant to St. Barnabas Hospital, providing counseling and support to geriatric patients, their families and staff caregivers.
Pam earned her ANCC Gerontological Nursing Certification, RN license from Pace University and B.S. with honors in Psychology from Mercy College. She is also a Licensed Professional Life Coach.
